Qatar National Bank (QNB) has launched NCR Corporation’s interactive video teller technology to give its clients banking services beyond traditional banking hours.
Located at bank’s Al Sadd branch, the technology provides a LIVE teller, which takes control of the ATM to help customers with up to 95 % of traditional transactions typically completed by tellers inside a branch.
The technology enables customers to perform all branch banking services on an ATM, including cash withdrawals above the daily limit than a standard ATM, along with cash deposits, cheque deposit, cheque encashment, credit card payments and money transfers, among others.
In addition, it also allows customers to make transactions using private touch screens through secured video and voice communication sessions.
Customers can also make private conversations through the handset available on the teller or via their personal headset.
QNB general manager of group retail Heba Al-Tamimi said: "Designed to provide remote assisted service, the Interactive Teller enables our customers to carry out the entire branch banking transactions 24/7 at the ATM, and that allows us to get closer to our customers and offer them an unrivalled experience."
