Qatar National Bank (QNB) has selected NCR Corporation’s CxBanking Activate Platform to upgrade its banking services.
Under the agreement, QNB will migrate to NCR Consumer Experience Banking (CxBanking) software – APTRA Activate.
The technology firm claims that its platform will give QNB customers’ consistent experience across the bank’s entire self-service channel in an advanced and secure environment.
Adel Al-Malki, general manager information technology at QNB Group , said: "Our agreement with NCR will deliver the latest software technology to help transform the QNB banking experience so we can sharpen our focus on customers and better understand their needs – a key pillar of our business strategy.
"NCR brings a unique vision for transforming banking service through innovative software platforms that will help us innovate faster and improve our customer experience."
QNB has already installed NCR Solidcore Suite for APTRA, a comprehensive ATM whitelisting software that proactively protects ATMs from insider attacks by preventing the introduction of unauthorized code on the network, and maintaining its integrity and availability.
