State Bank of India (SBI) has rolled out doorstep ATM service as the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic hampered customers’ movement.
The new facility provides a range of pickup and delivery services to the bank’s customers including cash pickup, cash delivery, cheque pickup, and cheque requisition slip pickup.
It also includes form 15H pickup, delivery of drafts, delivery of term deposit advice, life certificate pickup, and KYC documents pickup.
State Bank of India chief general manager Ajay Kumar said that the new SBI doorstep ATM service has been currently introduced in Lucknow, India.
It has been made available only for senior citizens and specially-abled people.
Additionally, account holders can avail this service from select branches only.
