Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform Solarisbank has expanded to France, Italy and Spain to become a pan-European platform.
The expansion will enable the company to offer local IBANs in the three countries.
The Berlin-based tech company establishing local operations in the three new markets in six months. It has also hired international professionals to support its operations.
Jean-Francois Guillaumin joined Solarisbank as General Manager France, while Francisco Jaramillo is in charge of the Spanish market. Michael Koehler will lead the company’s presence in Italy.

The platform provides digital bank accounts and payment cards, identification and lending services among others.
Last month, Solarisbank announced the completion of the transfer of its entire customer base to its own core banking system. The switch is expected to enhance performance and automate certain manual operations.
