Swedish challenger Rocker has selected Finnish fintech start-up Enfuce as card issuing and payment processing partner.
The move is expected to expedite the issuance of Visa prepaid cards. It comes after Rocker, formerly known as Bynk, launched a debit card for consumers.
Rocker Deputy CEO and Head of Communications Oscar Hyléen said: “We are a tech company building a retail banking platform with services that are more flexible, super easy to use and more affordable.
“As we expand towards our vision of becoming Europe’s number one future neobank and offer people the chance to replace their old bank, we need strong and flexible infrastructure partners to be part of the platform creation.”
Under the collaboration, Enfuce will help Rocker with licencing, compliance and payment processing.
It will also enable Rocker to issue feature-rich cards compatible with any payment method, currency or geographical location. Accordingly, it will support the Swedish neobank’s plans to expand its business to other European nations.
