UKsupermarket bank Tesco will offer
customers the option of using its own brand price comparison
service, through Tesco’s online banking portal, to rate home and
car insurance quotes against competitor offerings.
Tesco Bank has integrated its online quotation engine with the
Tesco Compare site.

Customers who go to Tesco Bank for a car or
home insurance quote will have the option to compare the price
against alternative providers through the new service.
Launched in 2007, Tesco Compare offers price
comparison services for car and home insurance from over 65 and 25
providers respectively.
Tesco Compare commercial director, Vikki
Macleod, said, “We are sure the new arrangement will embody the
Tesco Bank spirit of treating customers fairly.”
