A list of the 50 most influential digital bankers in Europe has been announced by Timetric and sponsors Intelligent Environments (IE).
The ‘who’s who’ of digital banking features an unranked collection of big hitting digital bankers, designed to showcase Europe’s digital banking top movers and shakers.
The list, named the Digital Banking Power 50, includes a separate group of five rising stars who have made great strides early in their careers and still have the potential to go even further.
RBI editor Douglas Blakey said: "It’s been a real pleasure putting together this list and has certainly shown the talent that Europe has to offer in the digital banking space.
"I’m very much looking forward to revisiting the Power 50 next year to see how things have changed."
The Power 50 was judged by a panel made up of: Blakey; Richard Cooper, VP for international marketing strategy at FIS; Daniel Mayo, chief analyst and the practice leader at Ovum; Jerry Mulle, head of marketing at IE; Ian Sayers, CTO at Zapp, and Roy Vella, a mobile financial services consultant.

By GlobalDataDavid Webber, CEO at IE, said: "The European Digital Financial Services Power 50 recognises those people who are transforming the way that financial services is conducted in the digital world. With such a wealth of names and institutions represented, I feel this list has done justice to those who are leading innovation and driving change within our industry.
"I look forward to The Power 50 and The Rising Stars becoming an annual occurrence; an opportunity for The Digital Banking Club to continue to recognise those who are leading the field and I wait with anticipation for 2015’s names and to see who will be driving the digital financial services agenda over the next 12 months."
The Power 50 list was put together as part of The Digital Banking Club, a project run by Timetric and sponsored by IE, to bring together people involved in the industry to share ideas, both online and at events.
