Palestine-based The National Bank (TNB) has gone live with Temeno’s core banking system as part of its digital transformation strategy.

TNB is the first indigenous bank in Palestine to roll-out the Temenos' system. The technology claims that its platform will help the bank to improve time to market of products and services, and lower operating costs.

The modules purchased by the bank include retail, corporate, treasury and capital markets, private banking and wealth management, securities, CRM, business and financial intelligence, and Fatca.

The bank also purchased the vendor's interfaces including Swift, ATM as well as Reuters.

Temenos regional director in the Middle East and Africa Jean-Paul Mergeai said: "We are delighted to see The National Bank go live with a new state-of-the-art core banking system. It will provide the technology platform to support scalable growth at the same time as enabling the bank to transform customer experience by launching products more quickly, offering Omni channel distribution as well as rich analytical services."
