Netherlands-based Triodos Bank has inked an ATM network outsourcing deal with US-based ATM operator Cardtronics.
The outsourcing agreement is effective immediately.
Under the agreement, Triodos Bank has handed over the responsibility for the maintenance and management of its ATM network to Cardtronics.
The aim is to offer the bank a cost-effective way to maintain cash access for its customers.
Through its agreement with Cardtronics, Triodos Bank aims to focus its resources on providing other value-added services to its customers.

The bank customers will gain access to improved service availability under Cardtronics’ management, noted the ATM operator.
The bank’s customers will benefit from access to more than 1,000 ATMs of Cardtronics across the country, as a result of this agreement.
Cardtronics international managing director Marc Terry said: “This agreement with Triodos Bank will mean its customers will benefit from easier access to cash through our network of ATM machines across the country.
“The bank has trusted us with the outsourced management of its Spanish estate, leaving it free to focus on those activities that add real value for their customer base.”
