
Italy’s UniCredit has launched an upgraded version of its Smart Banking app in the Czech Republic, which has been developed by Meniga.
The development of the new banking app follows the launch of Mbanking app in Serbia last year under a collaborative effort between the two companies.
Meniga, using its technological know-how, has been developing the Smart Banking app for boosting UniCredit’s customer engagement and loyalty.
Meniga CEO and co-founder Georg Ludviksson said: “Meniga has worked closely with the UniCredit team to enhance the app’s capabilities and ensure that it is providing the best possible experience for its users.
“The result is a really intuitive app which we know will be of great support to existing and new banking customers so that they can better manage their finances and day-to-day spending.”
Smart Banking app key features
The new app will act as a financial adviser for its users. The app will provide users with details regarding their income and expenditure, current accounts, loans and credit cards.

By GlobalDataUsing the app, users can also categorise their transactions as per their preferences to allow better budgeting.
Users can view a summary of their incoming and outgoing payments represented on graphs.
