UniCredit has tapped digital banking technology provider Meniga to launch an enhanced version of the bank’s mobile app in Slovenia.

Through utilising Meniga’s technology, UniCredit has developed a new version of its app “Mobilna Banka GO!”, designed to drive customer engagement and increase loyalty. UniCredit hopes the app will act as an everyday financial adviser for its users.

Mobilna Banka GO! key features 

The key features of the new app include:

  • Improved registration process for payments by using fingerprint or face recognition technology
  • Push notifications for incoming and outgoing transactions
  • Overview of the user’s accounts, loans and mortgages
  • Temporary blocking of cards, review of card transactions and card repayments
  • Incoming and outgoing payments summarised through graphs
  • Automatic categorisation of all transactions – the aim is to allow for better budgeting and an overview of spending
  • Dynamic google-like search for specific transactions

The app, in collaboration with Meniga, has already been rolled out in Serbia, Romania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is now available in Slovenia and is free to download via the AppStore and GooglePlay.
