Appway Sphere for Banking Geneva, part of Appway’s global event series for clients, partners, and prospects, took place on 13 June 2017. The conference explored the business benefits of digitalization and included interactive discussions with digital banking experts, live product demos, and insightful presentations.
Digital banking combines boundless collaboration with compliance. As both continue to rapidly evolve, it is important to make sure they stay aligned. This is why Appway announced new financial services solutions to support their development, which will be available later in the year: Onboarding for Retail, Digital Mortgage for Retail, Onboarding for Wealth, Regulatory Reviews for Wealth, AML/KYC Automation, and Self-Service Onboarding.
A complete banking package in less than 15 minutes
The banking event also featured Appway client success stories.
Aaron Mechelke, VP Digital Solutions and Delivery at Credit Suisse, presented Credit Suisse’s new Online Relationship Onboarding solution, which will go live on the Swiss market before the end of June. It is fully end-to-end and allows clients to open a complete banking package entirely online in less than 15 minutes, at any time and on any device, with no printing, mailing, or branch visit required.
In a joint effort, Appway developed the onboarding capabilities while Swisscom provided the video identification service for client recognition, cohesively integrated into the overall process flow by Appway.
When presenting the Online Relationship Onboarding solution, Aaron Mechelke explained that it not only meets the service expectations of an increasingly tech-savvy clientele but also frees up time for the bank’s relationship advisors. By allowing the bank to build client relationships at online speed and with reduced effort, this solution represents an opportunity for Credit Suisse to scale future banking products across this new channel.
Connecting with your clients at their terms
Discussing Credit Suisse’s new solution, Appway’s CEO and founder Hans Peter Wolf said: “Digital transformation enables boundless collaboration and allows banks to connect with clients on their terms. It’s key to financial institutions succeeding in the future, which is why we’re all very proud of the technology showcased here today.”
Geneva was the first stop of Appway Sphere for Banking 2017. The event will also take place in Hong Kong, Singapore, New York, and London.
